Restless Development - We Lead learning consultancy on powershifting
2023, UK (Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, Uganda & Mozambique, Guatemala & Honduras, Lebanon & Jordan).
Lead consultant for an independent review to document the We Lead powershifting model and generate learnings and recommendations on how Restless Development and the wider consortium can proactively shift power to young women to fulfil their SRHR. The programme specifically seeks to empower young women living with HIV/AIDS, living with a disability, those identifying as LBTQI+, and those affected by displacement. We Lead is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and implemented by a consortium of six organisations in nine countries across Africa, Central America, and the Middle East. Outputs included an overall model on powershifting through We Lead, and two spotlight learning briefs, one on youth leadership through the steering committee, and one on local ownership
Agence Française de Développement - Project management and capacity building of grantees of the Ethiopian Civil Society Innovation Fund
2022-23, Ethiopia
The purpose of the Agence Française de Développement’s (AFD) funded Civil Society Innovation Fund (CSIF) is to diversify the civil society space in Ethiopia, and encourage innovation, through targeted support to consortia of new and emerging civil society organisations (CSOs), addressing historically underserved thematic areas. INTRAC together with local Ethiopian partner AGAR leads the Coordination and Management of the CSIF, Provision of Grant Management Support to Civil Society Organisations, and Capacity Development of Civil Society Organisations. I work as INTRAC’s Programme Coordinator in close consultation with the Programme Director (UK based) and the Programme Manager (Ethiopia based), additional task relate to MEL including development of a Theory of Change and action plan at project level, and overall research support to project team.


Malaria No More UK - Learning evaluation.
2022-23, UK (Global and Kenya)
The purpose of the evaluation for MNM UK is to document the main activities and achievements over the course of 3 years of core funding from the Gates Foundation, with a primary focus on learning and with the additional focus of accountability to the Gates Foundation. It will also contribute to the forthcoming development of a better narrative and Theory of Change. Learning will be used to inform strategic and programme planning, bringing evidence into decision making and promoting closer alignment between different streams of work within the organisation. Activities include a data review, internal and external key informant interviews and a series of learning workshops. Lead consultant on a deep dive to draw learning from programme partnerships in Kenya. I am working as an independent consultant for INTRAC.
Newcastle University - MEL advice for the Water Security and Sustainable Development Hub.

INTRAC is providing consultancy support to Newcastle University to monitor evaluate and learn for an international and interdisciplinary research project focussing on water security. The Water Security and Sustainable Development Hub is a UKRI-funded project that connects UK universities (Newcastle, Leeds, Oxford) with interdisciplinary ‘collaboratories’ in Malaysia, India, Colombia and Ethiopia. As independent consultant I work directly with one of INTRAC's MEL consultants to be ‘a critical friend’ to the programme by providing an external perspective on the impact of the hub’s work, as well as the hub processes, particularly in developing capacity for collaboration, interdisciplinary working, intersectional research and ensuring a fair and equal partnership between northern and southern institutions.


Restless Development/DFID - MEL advisor and Learning partner on The Development Alternative
2019-22, UK (Uganda, Madagascar, Lebanon, Iraq)
Team member in the implementation of a youth-led accountability and youth civil society programme, called The Development Alternative, funded by the UK DFID/FCDO, aimed at developing and testing new ways of youth-led accountability methods and youth civil society support programmes in four countries (Madagascar, Uganda, Iraq and Lebanon). Active as Programme Coordinator of INTRAC’s monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) responsibilities within the consortium consisting of seven partners. Specially involved with the design of community surveys, developmental evaluation of the programme, a mid-term strategy review, and project end-learning products.
